Welcome to Quality Care Steenbergen

Quality Care Steenbergen was founded the first of October 2004 by Richard, Marcel and Dennis Barendse. With each of their extensive experience in greenhouse production in their previously individually owned companies, they combined their experience and management skills in Quality Care Steenbergen. In 2005 the construction started of a new greenhouse facility of 55200 m2 (12 acres) focused on the production of greenhouse bell peppers. This new facility has the latest technology and production techniques to ensure the most optimal conditions in the greenhouse as well as outside the greenhouse. Quality Care has received the “Greenhouse Green Label” certificate as the new facility is complying with all current environmental demands of today’s greenhouse vegetable production.

Quality Care’s goal is to be a reliable partner to its customers and producing the highest quality product possible. In addition to this, Quality Care is focused in creating an excellent work environment for its employees and their surroundings. These objectives are achieved by a modern and environmentally conscience way of production as well as by implementing “Quality Care” procedures and protocols. By implementing these procedures, Quality Care is a responsible and safe producer of greenhouse peppers, focused on foodsafety as well as hygiene in the complete production process. These objectives and goals are the backbone of Quality Care’s vision and day to day operations.
